Recently graduated? Looking to get onto the job ladder? Then this job is for you: we’re looking for a graduate Java Developer keen to get hands-on experience of Java in an inspiring environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the Internet and web technologies. The desire to learn new skills and expand your experience is also encouraged at the OTHER media.

A good understanding of the following is essential:

Object oriented software development in Java
Relational databases
Website development practices

Some understanding and experience of the below technologies would be an advantage:

Client side technologies, including (X)HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Object relational mapping (esp Hibernate)
Spring Framework / Terracotta
Web services (SOAP and REST)
AJAX
Unix/Linux

Industry experience is beneficial but not required: a Java related degree is essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Java graduate to improve their Java skills in a fast-paced, exciting environment, whilst also learning new cutting edge web technologies.

Salary: According to experience
