the OTHER media designs world class websites for brands and organisations that are rich, creative and will meet business objectives. We are experts in ecommerce, B2B, education and charity sector websites. We deliberately work with a broad range of clients so that we can share best practices from other industries. We pride ourselves on our ability to blend complex technical skill with stunning design.
We have over 15 year’s experience in website delivery. We built ‘Virgin Student’, a pre-curser to Facebook, and very early Benetton websites. From there we have worked with an amazing range of clients and are very proud of the websites we manage and the relationships we hold. The journey doesn’t stop with the launch of a website. We want to have a rich, ongoing relationship with our clients. We call this ‘Digital Strategy’.
Search engine friendly
Our sites are Search Engine friendly, enabling visibility through Google, Bing and other search engines. We strive to overcome complex integration issues; often dealing with multiple legacy systems.
Accessibility is important to us, and our work with Action For Blind People and RLSB has taught us much about providing web experiences for all needs. We are committed to building websites that are accessible to people with disabilities. All new website projects are built with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0, with the aim, where practicable, of achieving Level AA conformance. We also work with our clients, who normally edit the content of their websites, to ensure they have the knowledge and understanding needed to do so in a way that promotes accessibility.
We plan our web delivery projects carefully. We agree a Sitemap and Wireframes with you long before we commence build. We believe this leads to an accurate and cost effective delivery for you.
We can provide ongoing technical support and hosting for you. We do so for the majority of our clients. We will tailor this to your specific needs.
