the OTHER media is pleased to reveal its bright and modern new look website for the Zoological Society of London (ZSL). Our redesign is based upon an extensive usability and information architecture analysis which sought to create a more intuitive content hierarchy and streamlined user journeys. The site features a mix of innovative new features and functionality, including AJAX animal information sliders, single page checkout and most excitingly the ability to fulfil instant animal adoptions online.
Online animal adoption is the first totally web-fulfilled fundraising package on the ZSL website and is already proving popular with the public. The new functionality allows visitors to adopt animals at ZSL London Zoo or ZSL Whipsnade Zoo. In return for their donation, adopters receive an electronic certificate, an e-ticket for the zoo, access to premium personalised content about their animal, regular newsletters and digital (or offline) copies of Wildabout magazine.
