The Script Factory
What Script Factory needed
The Script Factory needed a site that used their pink branding and reflected their brand which is held in high regard by all in the script writing industry.
They needed a site that was easy to use and update that better promoted their calendar of courses that train future film makers in the use of interactive techniques and formats.
The Script Factory's co-director Briony Hanson said
"We've been working with screenwriters for over 7 years and the interactive opportunities for supporting and promoting writers and their projects have become increasingly important in that time. We see our partnership with the OTHER media as a real opportunity to build on the strengths of both companies and help the UK film industry develop new talent. It was great to find a company that was involved with training and had the experience to help us use the web as part of our programme rather than simply for publicity."
What the OTHER media did
We created a great looking CSS-based design and provided introductory OTHERobjects training for Script Factory staff.
Further Projects
the OTHER media has also been working with The Script Factory to produce a new site aimed at promoting the best of British films for this year’s BAFTA Awards. Choice Brits was built and launched in under three weeks to tie-in with a series of 12 screenings taking place around London in the coming months.
Most major marketing or promotional activities now have a web element but they can sometimes appear to be ‘tacked on’ to the main campaign – an online game or a screensaver for instance. Instead, Choice Brits was conceived to be a genuinely useful source of information that supports and informs the campaign. The site is updated regularly, using our content management system OTHERobjects, with reviews of the screenings, film information, news and details about forthcoming events, so that the site becomes a real place to visit on a regular basis....
