Introducing the L&Q Group

The L&Q Group is a leading housing association in the UK; its main purpose is to provide high quality, affordable homes for eligible people in London and the South East. Currently the group manages over 43,000 homes.

The challenge

It is L&Q’s mission to 'create places where people want to live' and that means building communities as well as homes. Thus L&Q needed a website which allowed their residents to find information quickly and easily, communicate with staff directly and feel part of a wider community. They also needed to cater for their corporate audience.

What we did

In order to fulfill L&Q’s objectives, we began by conducting a full stakeholder analysis to identify key audience groups. Personas were developed to ensure that the site catered for all users and levels of internet experience. Landing pages were central to this strategy, allowing us to combine the corporate focussed homepage with tailored entry pages for each audience segment. Our powerful CMS OTHERobjects gave L&Q the flexibility they needed to keep their site fresh in an immediate and cost-effective way.

The results

We’ve created a clean, attractive and user-friendly site for L&Q, with engaging community features that encourage return visits and easy interaction between residents and the housing association. The site contains a wealth of resources, all of which are easily accessible thanks to the powerful site search.
