Lunch at Del’Aziz

As part of the OTHER media’s weekly reward scheme, we sent some of our staff to sample the Mediterranean cuisine at Del’Aziz. Not just a great lunch, it was also an excuse to discuss some hot topics in digital.
Over some great charcuterie and couscous, we talked about the recent ‘Internet Explorer’ tax brought in Australian retailer kogan.com. Good idea? Our developers would probably agree -- our digital marketing staff perhaps not as much.
We also discussed some of the more recent projects here at the OTHER media. Looking back, we could see much we’ve learned about designing and developing for Drupal over the last year. It was bold move to ditch our previous technology and move towards open-source solutions, but we think it has really paid off. We’ve come a long way in the last year, with some great new people and some great new project launches.
Speaking of knew projects, we also debated the merits of the various word submissions in the newly released Collins Dictionary. Maybe next time we’ll go out for Calexican food?
